Modern woman can't stand a house mess

3 DIY Storage Hacks for your Home

If there’s one thing that many homeowners have in common, it’s the need for more storage. We all long for bigger closets or just extra room in general. Unless you’re able to move to a space with more storage, you may have to take matters into your own hands.

But, some space saving ideas can turn into huge eyesores and others can be too expensive and simply out of reach.

This post will show you some of our favorite storage ideas to incorporate into your home. These ideas are pleasing to the eye and serve as functional ways to add extra storage to your home without breaking the bank.

For the Bedroom – Storage Bed

It’s probably safe to say that the bedroom is often the room that requires the most storage space. But, generally the bedroom is also the room with the least amount of space to store your things.

Other than utilizing your closet to its maximum storage capacity, we’ve discovered that the storage bed could be a great solution.

For the Living Room – Storage Ottoman

This option can serve two purposes, extra seating and extra storage. If you are able to incorporate a storage ottoman into your space, we would highly recommend it. They can hold extra pillows and blankets, or you could use it to store your extra shoes!

For the Kitchen – On-the-Wall Pot Rack

For many, counter and cabinet space is hard to come by in their kitchen. If you’re looking to free up a cabinet, this option could be right for you! There are many variations to fit your style and that’s why we love this option.
